I HAVE A JOB.

I’m baaacckkk! I know, I know, It’s been a minute well more like 2 months but I couldn’t stand being away any longer.

Well I have some exciting news to share with you all… I, sincerelychloe, have a job. It has been a long ten months but I have a career. Before I set you up with the details I want to give you a bit of a back story on how I’ve gotten here.

The process has been sending out my resume to lots stations and companies and going through numerous interviews. After declining a few offers I finally settled on faith. If I may be transparent, I went through months of prayer and discouragement.

The worst thing about feeling discouraged is feeling as if you have no purpose. People would tell me maybe you should “switch gears.” “What else are you good at?” “Maybe you can make a career in something else you got your degree in.” Though they were trying to help and try to find a silver lining in the situation it still was not what I know I wanted to do and dreamed of since I was a little girl.

After begging God for a job and not seeing results I started to listen to God instead. I started to pray from my heart. I started to let Him know my concerns and specify my desires. Songs began to turn into prayers. Discouragement turned into encouragement. I recently started my broadcast journalism career thousands of miles away from home (my comfort zone) and moved to a foreign land.

I have so much to learn, so much room for growth and so much time to take in every moment. This is the beginning of a new journey. I have been lead to where my trust is without borders. I am going deeper than my feet could ever wonder. And my faith will be much STRONGER! So much is in store ahead. And I know it will not be full of sunshine and roses and peachy days always, but it will be a learning process every step of the way. Spiritually, emotionally and mentally. I can’t wait to share this journey with you on this path I’m on.

Now time for my rant to you. I know you have heard this time and time again. But, DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMSPLEASE. That passion you have inside of your heart is there for a reason. That fire you have for doing something you love is not to be put to shame. That joy you have when you are working on your passion should not be discounted. It’s all there for a reason.

If you feel like it’s too late, it’s not! The dreams that you had when you were young turn into visions when you become an adult. Don’t live with regrets, saying what you could’ve done. Why not do it now?
